A storm system moving up from the southwest will spread showers and
scattered thunderstorms into Southern New England this afternoon through
Tuesday. We are monitoring for potential of urban and poor-drainage
flooding with this event. See details below:

   - None.

*Thunderstorms / Heavy Rain / Flooding Potential ...*

   - Chance of heavy downpours,  local urban and poor-drainage flood risk
   from this afternoon through Tuesday.
   - Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches possible.
   - A few strong or severe storms are possible this afternoon into
   Tuesday, mainly along and near the South Coast.
