Good morning everyone,

Please see the attached briefing which outlines heat hazards today.

*What ...*

   - Heat Indices Between 95 and 100 degrees.

*Where ...*

   - All of southern New England, except the east slopes of the Berkshires,
   the northern Worcester Hills, as well as the Cape and Islands.

*When ... *

   - Through 8 PM this evening.

*Impacts ...*

   - There is the risk of heat-related illnesses such as sunstroke, muscle
   cramps and/or heat exhaustion with prolonged exposure.


Today's Heat Headlines along with forecast maximum heat indices are
attached to communicate the areal threat of heat and humidity.
