Good morning everyone

Here is a brief outline on Monday afternoon and evening's potential for
strong to severe thunderstorms.

*WHAT/WHEN:*
- A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Monday between 2 pm and
9 pm.

*WHERE:*
- The threat is mainly to the northwest of the Boston to Providence
corridor. The highest risk appears to be across interior MA and northern
CT.

*POTENTIAL IMPACTS:*
*- *Localized damaging wind gusts and large hail.
- Low risk of a tornado.
- Torrential rainfall may result in localized street flooding.

*UNCERTAINTY:*
*- *The areal coverage and intensity of thunderstorms remains uncertain in
southern New England. It is possible that clouds and early to mid morning
showers prevent any severe weather in our region.
- While the severe weather threat appears isolated at this point, there is
a low risk that a few localized areas experience a significant impact.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank You
