Good afternoon,

Latest trends continue to support less rain but strong winds with isolated
tree damage/power outages will continue tonight into Friday morning across
Cape Cod and the Islands along with minor to moderate coastal flooding and
beach erosion.

*What has changed ...*

   - The *FLOOD WATCH* is now confined to only Cape Cod and the Islands


   - The *WIND ADVISORY* is now confined to only coastal Plymouth and
   Bristol counties of MA along with southern RI


   - The *COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY* has been cancelled for Suffolk County MA
   including the City of Boston

*What / Where / When ... *

*Strong to damaging winds* (Southeast MA, Cape & Islands, southern RI)

   - Max sustained around 20 to 40 mph, max gusts around 40 to 60 mph Cape
   Cod and Islands
   - Isolated tree damage, power outages
   - Strongest winds this evening, diminishing Friday into Friday night

*Inland flooding* (Cape & Islands)

   - An additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall
   - Poor drainage flooding especially for coastal communities during high
   tide + storm surge
   - Periods of rain through Friday

*Minor to moderate coastal flooding *(E/SE Coastal MA including the Cape &
Islands)

   - Around 2 foot surge with high tides + around 15 to 25 foot waves
   - Significant beach erosion anticipated
   - Flooding near shore roads, potential closures, inundation of 1 to 2
   feet possible
   - For the high tide cycle this evening, worst flooding & erosion at
   Nantucket

*Gale to storm force winds along with dangerous seas* (all waters)

   - Dangerous sea conditions for all vessels
   - Highest seas and strongest winds today into this evening, diminishing
   Friday into Saturday
   - Max sustained winds around 25-35 kts, gusts around 35-55 kts; highest
   seas around 15-25 feet
