Good morning,
Thursday afternoon and early evening there is the risk for strong to severe
thunderstorms across portions of southern New England. Here are the
details...
*What ... *potential scattered strong to severe thunderstorms with damaging
winds and large hail along with a low probability of an isolated tornado.
*Where ... *greatest threat is across Connecticut, western-central
Massachusetts and possibly into RI
*When ... *approximately 2 pm to 9 pm
*Forecast Confidence ... *there is uncertainty on the exact area of
greatest risk for severe thunderstorms. This will hinge on the precise
location of a warm front across the region Thursday. Nonetheless, this
could be a high end severe weather event. Stay tuned to later forecasts
for updated trends.
