[Weather] [2020-12-16 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Winter Storm Tonight into Thursday

Good afternoon,
Please find attached the latest briefing for the winter storm that will
impact Southern New England tonight into Thursday. Impacts include heavy
snow, strong winds, minor coastal flooding, flash freeze and hazardous
marine conditions.
*Main changes:*
- Winter Weather Advisory has been upgraded to Winter Storm Warning
across Barnstable County.
- High Wind Warnings have been hoisted for the Islands.
- Gale Warnings have been upgraded to Storm Warnings across the Southern
waters.
- Forecast snowfall has been increased across northeast MA, northeast CT
and northern RI.
Expect the next update by 6 AM tomorrow.
