[Weather] [2020-07-10 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Impacts From Tropical Storm Fay

BOX Operations - NOAA Service Account box.operations at noaa.gov
Sat Jul 11 01:21:27 UTC 2020

Good evening,

The following changes have been made to the forecast:

*- Flash Flood Watches have been cancelled *for the entire Southern New
England except for Berkshire county in Massachusetts and Litchfield county
in Connecticut.

Latest radar imagery and high-resolution model guidance show bands of
scattered showers overnight with brief heavy rainfall from remnants of
Tropical Storm Fay. However, widespread flash flooding is not expected
given the scattered nature of the showers.
