[Weather] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Heavy Rain Today/Thursday and Tropical Storm Henri

Good morning everyone,

Little has changed regarding the potential for flooding today and Thursday.
The  greatest risk remains to the west of our region but it's possible that
portions of western Massachusetts are affected by locally heavy rainfall
and typical minor poor drainage flooding.

We've attached a one-page briefing on Tropical Storm Henri along with
graphics showing the most likely and earliest reasonable times of arrival
of tropical storm force winds. The forecast track has been adjusted
slightly closer to the New England coast. Further adjustments in track are
likely over the next few days.

The latest forecast keeps Henri well offshore this weekend but it's
possible that high surf and rip currents affect ocean beaches and rough
seas impact the coastal waters (especially east of Cape Cod). Additionally,
high astronomical tides may lead to minor coastal flooding.
