Hello everyone,
Attached is the latest briefing on Hurricane Henri. The track has shifted
ever so slightly to the east, but there were no changes to any watches or
warnings on this latest package.
We remain concerned about the potential for significant flash flooding in
western portions of our forecast area Sunday and Sunday night. Damaging
winds are possible near landfall. Gusts to 40-50 mph are possible over a
large portion of the region for a time on Sunday. Storm surge flooding is
expected along portions of the south coast, especially in Narragansett Bay,
although the greatest surge may occur during low tide.
