Good afternoon everyone
We just wanted to send a quick update that the severe weather risk for this
evening was diminishing. We may still see a few strong thunderstorms across
western MA/CT roughly between 6 and 11 pm this evening...but the threat for
any strong wind gusts should be localized and generally west of the CT
River. A few additional thunderstorms are expected Sunday morning between
the hours of 3 am and noon especially near and southeast of the Boston to
Providence corridor. While an isolated severe thunderstorm with locally
strong wind gusts is possible...expect most of the storms to be sub-severe
with just brief heavy rain and gusty winds.
Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns!
Thank You!
Meteorologists: Hayden Frank and Andrew Loconto
