[Weather] [02.07.2023 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Light WIntry Mix This Evening

Good morning everyone

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for western, central and
northeast Massachusetts this evening. This is for a wintry mix of light
snow, light sleet and light freezing rain between 7 pm this evening and
midnight. Any snow/sleet accumulations will be less than an inch, but a
light glaze of ice may result in untreated roadways becoming slippery. The
biggest uncertainty is the extent of any light icing given temperatures
right around the freezing mark. It is possible we will need to extend the
Winter Weather Advisory further south into portions of Connecticut, Rhode
Island and southeast Massachusetts later today including the Boston area.
Any light wintry mix should be exiting the region near or shortly after
midnight.
