[Weather] [07.27.2023 AM] NWS Boston Briefing - Severe Storms Today & Dangerous Heat through Saturday

Good morning,

Attached is our latest briefing packet regarding the risk for severe
thunderstorms today through tonight and the dangerous heat today through
Saturday.

Changes since our last briefing:

*Dangerous Heat*

   - Heat Advisory extended for parts of the region into Saturday

*Severe Thunderstorm and Excessive Rainfall Threat*

   - Severe thunderstorms most likely between 12-9 PM today
   - Main threat is still damaging wind gusts, but there is also a risk for
   tornadoes and a few instances of large hail
   - Flood Watch expanded into parts of the south coast
