[Weather] [07.27.23 1:00 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect Today

Good afternoon,

We wanted to provide a quick update on the expected severe weather event
this afternoon.* A severe thunderstorm watch has been put into effect for
all of southern New England except for Cape Cod and The Islands through 8pm
this evening. *There remains a risk for all severe thunderstorm hazards
including tornadoes. The watch area is depicted in the attached graphic.
