Good morning everyone!

Just a quick update that we have expanded the Flood Watch further west into
this evening. It now includes the Hartford, Springfield, and Worcester
Metro areas. Periods of heavy rain are anticipated this afternoon into
early this evening. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be
possible in heavier bands, which may coincide with the evening rush hour
and result in pockets of flooding. We have just attached a graphic for the
updated expansion of the Flood Watch.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!

Thank You!

Meteorologists: Hayden Frank and Rob Megnia
