[Weather] [2024.06.17 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Dangerous Heat & Humidity Tuesday through Friday

Good morning everyone,

We have issued a Heat Advisory for the rest of the region away from the
immediate south coast, beginning Tuesday and continuing through Friday. The
Excessive Heat Watch continues for the lower elevations of western
Massachusetts and the interior portions of northeast MA. The heat and
humidity will peak in the Wednesday through Friday time frame...when Heat
Indices in the 98 to 106 degrees away from the immediate south coast. Not
much relief is anticipated at night either with overnight heat indices only
dropping into the 70s.

We have attached our latest one-pager briefing along with a graphic of the
current Heat Headlines. Also, we have included the Max Afternoon Heat
Indices forecast in the Tuesday through Friday time frame.

An updated email will be sent by 6 pm this evening. Please let us know if
