[Weather] [03.13.2026 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Heavy Rain, River Flooding, Gusty Winds Possible Monday

Good morning,

As we head into the weekend we want to raise awareness for potential heavy
rainfall on Monday and Monday night that may cause area rivers and small
streams to rise. Minor to moderate river flooding is possible, mainly in
the Connecticut and Southern New England Watersheds. In addition to heavy
rainfall and river flooding, there is potential for strong to
possibly damaging southerly wind gusts. Please find additional information
in the attached one page briefing and supporting graphics. If confidence
in potential impacts increases, we will send additional briefings this
weekend.
