A High Wind Warning is in effect for all of eastern New York & western New England until 7 PM Monday. Wind gusts up to 65 mph will result in downed trees & scattered to widespread power outages. Also, lake effect snow and blowing snow will impact the western Adirondacks today. 2 to 6 inches of new snow, isolated spots up to 8 inches, are expected for this area and the reduced visibility & snow covered roadways will make for hazardous travel.
