**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and Other Partners, A storm system will impact the most of eastern NY and western New England (including southern Vermont and the Berkshires) Thursday night through Friday morning. Precipitation will begin between 1 am and 4 am across eastern New York and western New England, as a wintry mix of snow and sleet that will quickly change to freezing rain prior to daybreak. As temperatures continue to rise above freezing, precipitation will change to plain rain between 9 AM and noon on Friday.
