Storms are expected to be more widespread on Thursday afternoon than on Wednesday afternoon. *This afternoon* *What:* Isolated strong to locally severe thunderstorms in Western MA and CT this afternoon. *Threats:* Localized damaging winds and urban poor drainage flooding. *Timing:* Mainly 3 to 10 PM, although isolated storms could develop earlier. *Location:* Western MA and CT. *Thursday afternoon* *What:* Widespread strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon into evening. *Threats:* Localized damaging winds, small hail and urban poor drainage flooding. *Timing:* Mainly 2 to 9 PM, although isolated storms could develop earlier. *Location:* All of Southern New England.
