[09.07.2023 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Heat & Humidity Continues Friday
Good afternoon everyone, The only change with this forecast update is the risk for severe weather Friday is farther east into western portions of Massachusetts & Connecticut Friday afternoon & evening. The main threat would be isolated damaging wind gusts & locally heavy rain. Otherwise, Heat Advisories continue for most of the region away from the immediate coast Friday. Not quite as hot Friday, but nonetheless, high temperatures of 85-90 are expected along with heat indices from 95 to 100. Attached is a graphic indicating the main risk of severe weather and a map of the Heat Advisories along with the expected Heat Indices Friday.
