Good Morning,
One more hot and humid day is expected today. Please see the attached
images for more information.
*Changes ...*
- The Heat Advisory has been expanded to include much of Rhode Island
and south coastal Massachusetts.
*What and Where ...*
- Heat Advisory now in effect for most of Rhode Island and eastern
Massachusetts
- Highs around the upper 80s to lower 90s.
- Heat index 95 to 100 in most of Rhode Island and eastern
Massachusetts, and upper 80s to lower 90s elsewhere.
*When ... *
- Through 6 PM This Evening
*Impacts ...*
- Danger of heat-related illness with prolonged exposure.
In addition, scattered thunderstorms are expected in all of southern New
England this afternoon and evening. Some storms may produce damaging wind
gusts and minor urban flooding.
