BOX Operations - NOAA Service Account box.operations at noaa.gov
Tue Dec 15 21:17:11 UTC 2020

Good afternoon everyone,

A winter storm will impact the area Wednesday night into Thursday. We have
upgraded to Winter Storm Warnings for much of our area, but kept a Winter
Storm Watch for southern RI and southeastern MA, where more uncertainty
exists for potential mixed precipitation. In addition, a Coastal Flood
Advisory is in effect for the eastern MA coast within a few hours of the
high tide early Thursday afternoon. Minor coastal flooding is expected,
with a foot or two of inundation on normally vulnerable areas, along with
some beach erosion.

Please see the attached briefing for the latest information.

Thanks.
