Good Afternoon everyone,
Attached is our latest briefing regarding the expected weather Friday and
into Saturday. Although the storm system that will affect the area will be
partially from the remnants of Nicole, what we will experience should be a
rather typical fall storm for us featuring gusty winds, some heavy rains
and rough conditions on the ocean. Given the multifaceted nature of the
storm system, we have expanded to a slide deck to give additional details
on the expected rain, wind and marine conditions.
In general, the forecast updates we have made show reduced risk for
flooding, however the risk for strong winds is increasing.
We will plan on providing an updated briefing early Thursday morning. If
you have any questions or would like more information, don't hesitate to
contact us via this email address, on NWSChat <https://nwschat.weather.gov/>
Thanks,
Andy Nash, Andrew Loconto, Matt Belk
