Good afternoon, Here is the updated weather briefing regarding the heat wave. The main change with this update is to add Kent County RI to the Heat Advisory. In addition, we are now forecasting heat index values 100-104F on Monday, with 95-100F on Tuesday. This maintains a small chance that an Excessive Heat Warning may eventually be warranted Monday for some locales if heat index values reach 105F. We have attached the following: 1. Good morning everyone, Attached is our updated weather briefing regarding the heatwave. The main change with this update is that the Heat Advisory has been expanded to include all of Southern New England except for areas towards the south coast and east slopes of the Berkshires. In addition, we are now forecasting heat index values 100-104F on Monday/Tuesday so there is a small chance that an Excessive Heat Warning may eventually be warranted for some locales if heat index values reach 105F.
